Questions

Is self-hosting really free?

Yes, for any organisation to use within its own organisation, companies included. What the licence doesn’t allow is offering Agenthix to others as a hosted service.

What does Cloud cost?

Having us run Agenthix for you is paid, with a free demo to try first; we’ll share pricing when early access opens. Connecting the Agenthix you run yourself is free during early access, and you’ll hear before that changes.

Do I pay for AI models separately?

Yes. Agents use your own Claude subscription or an API key from the provider you choose, so model costs go straight to that provider. Agenthix shows the estimated cost of every reply.

What do I need to self-host?

A computer or a server with Docker and Git: your Mac, a Linux machine or a VPS. One command builds and starts Agenthix — see Get Agenthix. Add more machines whenever you need them.

What support do I get?

Self-hosted Agenthix is supported by the community on GitHub: report bugs as issues, and ask questions in Discussions, where answers stay searchable for everyone. We read everything, but we can’t promise response times.

Is any of my data sent to you when I self-host?

No. There’s no account with us and no telemetry. Your data stays on your machines.
